Casa Cadaval
Standing opposite the palatial residence of the Dukes of Cadaval (18 th
century), the Adega Nova is a huge building within an extensive
agricultural complex. The vineyard extends over 75 hectares of sandy
soils. Fernão Pires and Trincadeira das Pratas are the main
white varieties grown and Trincadeira Preta, Pinot Noir, Cabernet
Sauvignon and Castelão the most important red ones.

As well as wine – making, this huge property is a centre for bull
and horse – breeding. There are 140 hectares of vines planted in
sandy soils, with the white grape varieties Fernão Pires and
Sauvignon Blanc and the red Trincadeira Preta, Castelão,
Alicante Bouschet, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Aragonês and Touriga Nacional.

The Quinta was acquired in 1723 by the first Marquis of Alorna, viceroy
of India. The 200 hectares of vines planted on sandy and round pebble
soils include the white varieties Fernão Pires, Chardonnay,
Arinto and Trincadeira das Pratas and the red varieties
Castelão, Cabernet Sauvignon, Baga, Alicante Bouschet, Tinta
Miúda, Trincadeira Preta, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional.

A typical agricultural extension with very old traditions. There are 60
hectares of vines planted in clayey – sandy alluvial soils,
divided into separated areas of the white varieties Fernão
Pires, Trincadeira das Pratas , Arinto and Chardonnay and the red Baga,
Periquita, Trincadeira Preta, Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Nacional,
Touriga Franca, Aragonês, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Alicante Bouschet

The cellar is in the town of Almeirim. The vineyards are situated in
the municipalities of Santarém and Alpiarça and occupy an
area of 110 hectares of argilo – calcareous and alluvial soils.
The varieties grown are Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Fernão Pires,
Tália, Trincadeira das Pratas, Touriga Nacional, Aragonês,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Castelão between other ones.

Situated in Alpiarça. It is an obligation to visit this Quinta.
The Casa dos Patudos Museum, National Herotage by the architect Raul
Lino, has one of the best collection of contemporary art in our
country.
In harmony with the splendour of Casa dos Patutos Museum the wine
growing tradition of the Patudos Estate is launching its recent
artistic collection of Wines, Sparkling Wines, Brandy, Olive –
Oil and Vinegar with the denomination of the Ribatejo origin.

Situated in the heart of the town of Alpiarça, the celar lies in
a yard full of lemon – trees. The cellar has maintained a strong
rural flavour of a typical rural house along 100 years of existence.
The vines, which cover 50 hectares of alluvial soils produce white wine
in the varieties of Fernão Pires, Tália and Chardonnay
and red wine in the varieties of Periquita, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Aragonês, Trincadeira, Syrah and Touriga Nacional.

Quinta da Lagoalva de Cima
Adjacent to the owner's home, it is a fine example of the aristocratic
rural architecture of the 18 th century. The vineyard, which covers an
area of 44 hectares streches across flat fields, as far as the eye can
see. The main white varieties grown are Fernão Pires, Arinto,
Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The main red ones are Syrah, Cabernet
Sauvignon, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Touriga Nacional.

cellar in the Quinta de São João, whose principal
activity is wine producing and horticultures.
Nowadays its production covers 80 hectares, 52 hectares of which are
